We are the ones we’ve been waiting for!
by judy on Jul.19, 2010, under In The News
When Saturn enters the sign of Libra July 21, 2010, awaiting it at zero degrees Aries is the planet Uranus. They are in exact opposition AGAIN. Then, let’s not forget Pluto in Capricorn square Saturn and Uranus, creating a Cardinal T-Square.
Again, tell me what I’m supposed to learn, so I can get on with it!
Well, first of all patience. These are powerful energies that can move mountains, or level the playing field. This energy needs an outlet, preferably a humanitarian one that takes all of our well being into account. This energy could unite otherwise adversarial energies through cooperation and commonality. We can expect to see world issues looming through mid-August due to these planetary energies.
Or, like some astrologers speculate, it could be a push pull toward balance. Whatever has been on and off your mind since 2008 that needed to change, it’s time to make your move. There’s a rush of energy from this configuration of planets, and it lends itself to action oriented activities, especially those with early cardinal planets in their charts. (This means 0-5 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra and/or Capricorn.) Pluto=Transformation, Uranus=Awakening, and Saturn=Reality. It is time to change our collective reality, and taking part in it rather than having it take us apart, is the goal.
These changes are likely to involve our relationships with others versus our relationship with our self. Bringing harmony and balance to these polar opposites is our job. Seeing our beliefs, habits and behaviors that support our self undoing and keeps us from doing a better job is the playing field. We need to keep a sense of humor now, not take ourselves too seriously, and work through the changes. Pluto in Capricorn demands transformation of our support systems, in the physical world. Letting go doesn’t mean failure, it means freedom. Try some loving kindness towards yourself and others, while the world as we know it continues to change..
New Moon Solar Eclipse Today
by judy on Jul.11, 2010, under In The News
The New Moon in Cancer is aligning with the sun in Cancer, creating a total solar eclipse. If you are in the South Pacific you are in luck, as that is the best place to view it! The new moon will slide in front of the sun’s disk beginning at 2:15 p.m. EDT, casting a circular shadow on the Earth. The only land it will cross are Mangaia in the Cook Islands, Easter Island, a few scattered atolls, and southern Chile and Argentina. The next total solar eclipse in the continental U.S. is Aug. 21, 2017. Take time to go within today, look at the shadow side of your life, those things that hide within us and block our joy and progress. Make plans to address these as potentials for personal growth.
Are you feeling the crunch?
by judy on Jul.05, 2010, under In The News
Are you feeling like everything is stacking up against you? Well, in a way, they are! The planets are lining up to do one last battle between the past and the future, astrologically speaking.
We are being tested as to what to keep and what to let go of. We are being challenged to grow, to admit defeat of the old patterns and surrender to our highest version. We are in the last leg of Saturn in Virgo, and as of July 22nd, the game is on, as Saturn moves into Libra.
Since 2008, Saturn and Uranus have been doing the tango, back and forth in and out of opposition. But this one is different, as before the planets were in the “mutable signs” of Virgo and Pisces. As of Thursday the 22nd, they both are 0 degrees “cardinal” in Libra and Aries. Just what does that mean? Mutable signs are flexible, malleable and willing to change, but in the cardinal signs, we are provoked to fight for change! This is really activated in our relationships with others, whether we are willing to lead the charge, or compromise and cooperate on others behalf.
As individuals it’s time to take a deep inventory of what is working in our lives and what isn’t, then proactively DO something about it. It won’t go away, it will only become more problematic as this date gets closer. Remember those who have come before us, what they have dealt with (The Great Depression, World Wars, etc.) and remember the way to the future is through the past. It all boils down to choice, whether you choose to master your own life, or give up. I vote to grow!
Super Lunar Eclipse Grand Cross
by judy on Jun.25, 2010, under In The News
This Saturday morning, June 26th, there’s going to be a lunar eclipse and it’s going to be a big one.
The eclipse begins at 3:17 am PDT (10:17 UT) when the Moon enters the sunset-colored shadow of Earth. By 4:38 am PDT (11:38 UT), the moment of greatest eclipse, 54% of the Moon’s diameter will be covered. From beginning to end, the event lasts almost three hours.
The sight will be incredible, due to the “Moon illusion” created by the Moon being so close to the horizon, it will appear huge. The Moon opposes the Sun today, and Saturn opposes Uranus, creating a Grand Cross. Like the wheel, the cross brings movement, energy and change.
Mercury favors Jupiter and Uranus
by judy on Jun.10, 2010, under In The News
Around 10:45PM PST June 9th Mercury entered it’s native sign, Gemini. With it’s entry into Gemini, the pace is enlivened and our intellect is sharpened. Mercury, the messenger, is at home here. It sits at 0 degrees Gemini, and Jupiter and Uranus sit at 0 degrees Aries. The relationship between Aries and Gemini, being two signs apart, is a sextile, or 60 degrees apart. Think of a circle with 12 slices like a pie. Two slices away makes for a flow between these planets.
Gemini=Communications, Jupiter=Expansion, and Uranus=Awakenings. So what does that mean? Through study, conversation, writings, we can expand our awareness and have many “Aha!” moments, if we seek them. This sextile between the planets is joined by the Moon in Gemini later today, bringing in the emotional need to bring information into the light.

Jupiter joins Uranus June 6th (Fasten your seatbelts)
by judy on Jun.02, 2010, under In The News
Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system, and Uranus, half the size of Saturn but a mighty planet, will travel together beginning June 8, 2010. Just what does that mean for us? Potentially, their conjunction can be huge in many ways.
These planets are both encouraging us to grow and change. Jupiter brings opportunity for growth, expansion and enthusiasm if interpreted positively, otherwise it can inspire fanaticism, overindulgence and extravagance. Uranus brings about the possibility for awakening our creativity, intuition and originality, or it can bring us unexpected events, destruction and rebellion. Together they can inspire global change, but what kind will it bring? Depending where on the planet you live you might speculate on the possibilities, and fearlessly move forward in a proactive way. Prepare for the worst but expect the best. Staying flexible and open to the possibilities will drain the fear out of your body that would otherwise paralyze you in a crisis. These planets are exactly conjoined through June 13th, then Jupiter will move on.
Take a moment to comment, make a prediction from your world view. Or, after this week, let us know what happened in your life.

by judy on May.27, 2010, under In The News
For the first time in 84 years, Uranus enters the sign of Aries. Uranus is the planet of originality, unexpected events and freedom, and Aries is the sign of war, pioneering and new beginnings. Joining in the fight will be Jupiter, as of June 6th to the 13th, in Aries at 0 degrees.Jupiter expands whatever it joins, so we can expect fireworks even after the 4th of July! This duo can shake up our reality in more ways than we can imagine. Great time to forward those plans of changing it up, beginning a new phase, breaking free of former limitation and taking a chance. It’s a no fear transit, giving us the courage to act on what we may have procrastinated on with the Pisces energy. Watch for the building tensions and sudden releases through the summer, as the planets align for an all out opposition July 30th between the Moon, Jupiter and Uranus in Aries, within 3 degrees of each other, opposite Mars and Saturn in Libra. WOW
Full Moon in Sagittarius
by judy on May.27, 2010, under In The News
The Full Moon today in Sagittarius at 3:07 PM PST will be a dazzler! I’ve been out watching it the last couple of nights, growing in size while dancing among the clouds with it’s beautiful glow. This Moon can lighten our energies by expanding our awareness. We can let go of the heaviness of the past and look toward a bright and hopeful future. We need to allow ourselves to stay flexible in this mutable Moon sign and roll with the changes ahead. We know in our hearts everything happens for a reason, so let us keep an open mind to the wisdom bestowed upon us now, from within.
